The Power of Leverage

Success is all about LEVERAGE!

Leverage: Its root word is lever, coming from the middle eastern word levour. A levour was a bar used for prying or dislodging something, denoting the means of accomplishing a purpose. Interestingly enough, one of the characteristics of a lever is that is allows one to not only gain advantage, but to do so at a distance.

So what does leverage allow us to do?

Let me reiterate: It allows us to gain advantage and to do so from a distance. Leverage is more subtle, and more effective when it is exercised from a distance. The greater the distance, the greater the leverage. Thus, if you're a network marketer or business owner, the better trained your managers/leaders and employees are, or the bigger your downline is, the more leverage you will have.

We can also look at the biblical tale of David and Goliath. Goliath had power (mass, strength) but David with his slingshot had leverage. How cool is that?

Archimedes, a native to Syracuse, Sicily had to be one of the greatest mathematicians known to man. He knew that by applying a lever, one could life even the heaviest of objects by applying even the weakest of forces. In fact, he made this statement to King Hiero of Syracuse:

"Give me a leaver long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world."
   - Archimedes

You don't have to be some superhero to have leverage, you just have to understand the principles behind it, then you begin to build it, until you obtain it.

So what are the Principles of Leverage?

Let me share with you what my father-in-law, Dan thinks they are.
"First thing is thoughts are things. What you think about you bring about."

So may I ask you, what are you thinking about every day, hour, minute, and second?
Are they good thoughts or are they bad thoughts?
Do they uplift or do they degrade?
Are they focused on your goals, desires, and aspirations for the day, or are they scattered all over the place(like mine tend to be at times).

Dan:                              "You need to learn the principles of leverage if you want...
TIME Freedom
FINANCIAL Freedom
FAMILY Freedom
ALL other Freedoms to be able to do WHAT you want, WHEN you want, and WHERE you want."

To max out the principle of leverage you need to have as many voices as you can working for you, not against you.

To max out on the principle of leverage you have to have momentum and be consistent in whatever you do.

John D. Rockefeller said it best, "I would rather earn 1% off a 100 people's efforts than 100% of my own efforts."
